Graham Staward, founder of English Food Company, realized during his frequent visit to the Costa Brava that the type and variety of food served in the hotels and restaurants of the area did not always agree with what the British Tourists were accustomed to.
Based upon this observation he was able to supply the demand which existed for English food and drink products that otherwise were not available on the Spnish Market. In zhe early 90`s the company only relied upon a small "Almacin" or warehouse and one transit van.
Over the following 15 years the business grew to a substantial size in both stotage and transport. In 2007 the company was taken over by Laurent Bates and Jason Spencer and a new era began.
The business name changed to British Food Imports and along with strategic investments and continued dedication they hope to continue the growth. Their aim and goal is to continue servicing the Costa Brava and Andorra areas but to also forge an expansion in to the city of Barcelona and the Costa Dorada whilst maintaining quality of service in both products and delivery that the original company achieved.
Both Laurent and Jason are keen to listen to and respond to their customers needs and ideas and would welcome all such input, either by telephone, fax or email. After all "the customer is always right". They look forward to meeting all of their customers, but in the meantime, wish everyone a very successful 2007.
